Student Guidance Exchange Day

The second Student Guidance Exchange Day will be in Wageningen and will focus on two urgent topics “How to prepare international students for the Dutch system” and “Undesirable conduct”. There will be enough time to connect with each other during 3 organized dates, since that is the icing on the cake on a day like this. You are welcome on Wageningen campus in Impulse building on 12 May, with the following programme:

Programme

  • 09:30 – Entry and Coffee/tea
  • 10.00 – Welcome by chair of the day and explanation of the day
  • 10.05 – Update Student Challenges and EduXchange by Sara Panis
  • 10.15 – Topic 1: How to prepare international students for the Dutch system? Nadja Schmiemann and Miranda van der Slikke, two of our student deans, went to China twice to learn about the education system there in order to support Chinese students in Wageningen. An interactive and practical session.
  • 11.00 – Pick your Coffee & Tea and go on date 1
  • 11.55 – Wrap-up of the topic How to prepare international students for the Dutch system?
  • 12:30 – Lunch (vega for all) – possibility to go for a walk with (new) friends
  • 13.30 – Topic 2: Undesirable conduct – An introduction on this topic that is urgent and has many perspectives
  • 14.00 – Pick your Coffee & Tea and go on date 2
  • 14.45 – Sugar break
  • 15.00 – Tour around the campus or date 3
  • 15.45 – Wrap-up of the day & input for the next Student Guidance Exchange Day, in Utrecht
  • 16.00 – Drinks
